Centrifugal Oil Purifiers
Centrifugal Oil Purifier Procedure from ACORE Filtration Co.Ltd May 15,2018.

DCS Centrifugal Oil Purifier from ACORE uses centrifugal force to separate the components of a mixture of liquid and solid particles or liquid and liquid. It is mainly used to separate the solid particles from the liquid in the suspension, or to separate two liquids of different densities that are not compatible with each other. DCS Centrifugal Oil Purifier can also be used to eliminate Liquids in wet solids, such as washing wet clothes with a washing machine, special over-speed tube separators can also separate gas mixtures of different densities, use different characteristics of solid particles of different densities or particle sizes in the liquid.

When the suspension containing the fine particles is left stationary, the suspended particles gradually sink due to the gravitational field. The heavier the particles, the faster the sinking, whereas the particles with a lower density than the liquid will float. The speed at which particles move in a gravitational field is related to the size, morphology, and density of the particles, and is related to the strength of the gravitational field and the viscosity of the liquid. Like erythrocyte-sized particles, which are several microns in diameter, their settlement can be observed under normal gravity.

In addition, the material is also accompanied by diffusion when it settles in the medium. Diffusion is absolutely unconditional. Diffusion is inversely proportional to the mass of the material. The smaller the particles, the more severe the diffusion. Settlement is relative and conditional. External forces are required to exercise. Settling is proportional to the weight of the object, the faster the particles settle, the faster it will settle. For particles smaller than a few micrometers, such as viruses or proteins, they are colloidal or semi-colloidal in solution and it is impossible to observe the sedimentation process using only gravity. The smaller the particles, the slower the sedimentation and the more serious the diffusion phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to use a Centrifugal Oil Separator to generate a strong centrifugal force in order to force these particles to overcome the diffusion and produce a settling motion.

Centrifugation is the use of the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation of the centrifuge rotor to accelerate the settling velocity of the particles in the liquid and separate the sedimentation coefficient and buoyancy density of the sample.

DCS Disc-type Centrifugal Oil Purifier from ACORE Filtration Co.Ltd can be used for treatment of marine oil, turbine oil, heavy fuel, lube oil, etc.
