1. acid value
Its super limit value is greater than 0.1 mg KOH / g. There are four possible reasons for exceeding the limit: overload operation; consumption of antioxidants; mistaken oil; oil contamination. 4. flash point
Its super limit is less than 130 °C. Or it is 5 °C lower than the previous test value. There are two possible reasons for exceeding the limit: the device has a local overheating fault; the wrong oil is added. The following countermeasures can be taken for the flash point to exceed the limit value: find out the cause and eliminate the fault;

If the visual inspection oil is opaque, there are visible impurities or suspended solids. Or if the oil color is too dark, the oil looks abnormal. If the oil is illegible, turbid and whitish, indicating that the oil contains water, the water content should be checked. If the oil is found to contain carbon particles, the oil color is black, and even the burnt smell, there may be internal arc or partial discharge failure, and should be combined with other tests to investigate the cause.

Troubleshooting. If the oil color is dark and the color of the oil changes significantly, attention should be paid to whether the aging of the oil is accelerated. It can be combined with the acid value test of the oil or the monitoring of the operating temperature of the transformer oil.

Transformer oil varies widely, and usually cannot be used as a basis for evaluating oil quality by a single test item. A comprehensive analysis should be based on several key characteristics measured.
