The larger the capacity and the higher the voltage level, the more complicated the structure, and the more the insulating material content in the structure, the longer the assembly and finishing time, and the more hygroscopic.

After being vapor-dried and reaching the required body, it is placed in the atmosphere. Since the insulating material is vapor-dried, the water content is generally low and does not exceed one at about 0.5. Due to the high partial pressure of water vapor in the environment, the partial pressure difference between the insulating material and the atmospheric water vapor partial pressure (ie, the low partial pressure of the insulating material and the ambient partial pressure), such as a 40000kva/110kv transformer. The moisture in the environment will migrate to the insulating material, which means that the insulating material begins to absorb the moisture in the environment.

In the initial stage, the moisture absorption is limited to the insulating surface layer, and the moisture absorption only shows the peak of the surface layer. As time goes by, the moisture moves and diffuses from the surface layer to the inside. At the same time, the temperature of the body gradually decreases with the time of the furnace release, and the partial pressure difference is larger, moisture absorption is more serious. However, as the moisture absorption gradually deepens and the water content increases, the water vapor partial pressure value of the insulating material will gradually rise again until the water vapor partial pressure of the saturated environment is equal, and the moisture absorption stops.

In the manufacturing process of transformers, due to the long assembly time, large atmospheric humidity and other reasons, the body moisture absorption and moisture phenomenon has occurred frequently in various transformer manufacturing enterprises. Many enterprise products found that the insulation resistance, absorption ratio, dielectric loss, etc. of the transformer were significantly different from the factory test values when they were installed on site, and even the power frequency withstand voltage could not pass. The reason is that the moisture absorption reaches a certain level, but the water content does not exceed 2, and the insulation strength and insulation properties have not been reflected. In addition, when the body is inspected by the hanging heart at the scene, the body is once again exposed to the atmosphere, and the temperature of the body is already at normal temperature, and the partial pressure value of the water vapor of the insulating material is lower than the partial pressure value of the ambient water vapor. Therefore, there is more or less point of moisture absorption, thereby increasing the water content, that is, causing some of the above indicators to deteriorate. Therefore, it is particularly important to prevent moisture and moisture from the body of the controller.


There are several ways in the industry to prevent moisture and moisture in the body of the controller:

(1) Shorten assembly time and maintain high temperature of the body. This requires the operator to have skilled operating techniques and standardized procedures, to prepare for the pre-production technical preparation and familiarity with the drawings; at the same time, the production organizer is required to invest the necessary personnel to form a quick-entry box that does not miss the work and does not have to work. Production situation.

(2) Heat again into the drying tank to increase the temperature of the body. Some products with complicated structure can't finish the cover box within the specified time, but they can't let the temperature of the body decrease. Once again, the temperature of the body is increased to increase the temperature of the body, so that the partial pressure of water vapor of the insulating material is always higher than the environment. The water vapor is divided and the insulating material is not hygroscopic. Therefore, finishing during the day and heating and insulation of the products in the evening are the methods commonly used by enterprises.

(3) The body is vapor-phase dried and subjected to vacuum oil immersion treatment before finishing the body. By vacuum immersion, the transformer oil is immersed in the interior of the insulating material fiber, hindering the ingress of moisture, slowing the moisture absorption rate, and increasing the assembly time. However, there is a problem that the oil immersion time is short, the insulating material is not completely impregnated, the oil and the atmosphere are also in contact with water, the production efficiency is low, and the body is susceptible to dust pollution. This method is more suitable for products with high voltage and large capacity.

(4) Organize the body with a Transformer Dry Air Generator. Products with complex structures that require a longer body finishing process can be enclosed in a closed room and passed inwardly through the dry air treated by the dry air generator (with a dew point of –40 ° C or less). Due to the passage of dry air, a positive pressure is always maintained in the enclosed room to prevent the entry of humid air. If there is still insulation material to be installed in the fuel tank or internal wiring for a long time, the dry air should be put into the fuel tank to maintain a positive pressure, thus protecting the body insulation and diluting the moisture exhaled by the operator. This method is especially suitable for the overhaul and modification of the installation field transformer.
