Development of Vacuum Lube Oil Purifier -ACORE FILTRATION CO.LTD

June 7,2018.

Lube Oil Purifier is widely used in chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, light industry, food, benefication, coal and water treatment departments.

The primary filtration was mostly gravity filtration, then pressure filtration was used to increase the filtration rate, and vacuum filtration occurred. The Vacuum Lube Oil Purifier invented at the beginning of the 20th century enabled continuous filtration operations. Since then, various types of Oil Purifiers have emerged one after another. Lubricating Oil Purification System has been developed because of their ability to be automated and filtering areas have become larger. Lube Oil Purifier use filter media to divide the container into upper and lower chambers, which constitutes a simple filter. The suspension is added to the upper chamber and passes through the filter medium under the pressure to enter the lower chamber into a filtrate, and the solid particles are trapped on the surface of the filter medium to form filter residue. During the filtration process of the Lubricating Oil Purification System, the filter residue layer on the surface of the filter medium is gradually thickened, the resistance of the liquid passing through the filter residue layer increases, and the filtration speed decreases. When the filter chamber is full of filter residue or the filtration speed is too small, the filtration is stopped, and the filter residue is removed. Regenerate the filter media to complete a filtration cycle.

The liquid must pass through the filter residue layer and the filter media must overcome the resistance, so there must be a pressure difference across the filter media, which is the driving force to achieve filtration. Lubricating oil Purifier increase the pressure difference to accelerate filtration, but particles that deform after being pressed tend to clog the pores of the filter media during large pressure differences, and filtration slows down. The suspension is filtered in three ways: filter layer filtration, deep filtration and sieve filtration. Filter residue filtration refers to the formation of an initial filter residue layer after the initial filtration period. After that, the filter residue layer plays a major role in the filtration. In this case, large and small particles are trapped. Lubricating Oil Purification System deep filtration means that the filter medium is thicker, the suspension contains less solid particles, and the particles are smaller than the pores of the filter medium. When the particles are filtered, the particles are adsorbed in the pores after the filtration; the filtration is the filtration retention. The solid particles are larger than the pores of the filter medium, and the filtration method in which the solid particles are not adsorbed on the inside of the filter medium, for example, the rotary filter is used to filter coarse particles in the sewage.

During filtration processing of Lubricating Oil Purification System, the three methods often occur simultaneously or one after another. The processing capacity of the filter depends on the filtration speed. When the solid particles in the suspension are large and the particle size is uniform, the pores of the filtered filter residue layer are relatively smooth, and the filtrate passes through the filter residue layer at a relatively high speed. The use of agglomeration agents to aggregate the finer particles into larger agglomerates helps increase the filtration rate. Lube Oil Purifier with fast solid particle sedimentation speed, apply a filter on the upper part of the filter medium so that the direction of filtration is consistent with the direction of gravity, and the coarse particles first settle, which can reduce the blockage of the filter medium and the filter residue layer. Filtration of the suspension (such as colloids) mixed with relatively coarse solid particles such as diatomaceous earth, expanded perlite, etc., can make the filter residue layer become loose, when the viscosity of the filtration is large, the suspension can be heated to reduce the viscosity. These measures can speed up the filtration rate.
