Gas & Steam Turbine Oil Purifier with Coalescer and Separator November 2,2018.

In order to completely solve the problems of water and particle in gas and steam turbines, our company has developed TOP Turbine Oil Purifier, which adopts the international advanced “coalescence separation” dehydration technology and combines the functions of precision filtration and high-efficiency dehydration to efficiently remove particulate pollutants, emulsified water, dissolved water and free water in the oil. The cleanness can reach NAS4-6 level.


TOP Turbine Oil Purifier with coalescer and separator has two sets of filter elements with different functions inside - a coalescing filter element and a separating filter element. When the oil flows through coalescing filters, it undergoes four stages of filtration, coalescence, sedimentation and separation in its interior to realize the function of filtering out particulate dirt and removing water.


The oil first flows through the coalescing filter element from the inside to the outside. The coalescing filter element is a suitable combination of special glass fiber and other synthetic materials, specially formulated for turbine oil (turbine oil), and has good hydrophilicity. The coalescing filter has the dual function of filtering particulate pollutants and agglomerating water. The innermost high-precision filter material first filters out the particulate contaminants in the oil; the outer demulsification coalescence layer coalescer the tiny water droplets in the oil into water droplets. Larger water droplets will settle to the sump by their own gravity. The smaller size of the water droplets will not be able to settle and will be carried by the oil to the separation filter. The separation filter element is made of specially treated stainless steel mesh and has good water repellency. When the oil flows from the outside to the inside through the separation filter element, the small water droplets are effectively intercepted outside the filter element, and only the oil passes.


The oil first filters out the particles in the oil from the initial filter and enters the coalescing separator. In the Coalescer Oil Separator, the oil passes through four processes of filtration, coalescence, sedimentation and separation to achieve the function of removing moisture, and finally the purified oil is output. The water settled in the sump is removed by a drain valve on the sump. At the same time, according to the oil quality, the oil can be directly filtered through the filter to filter out the particulate pollutants in the oil, and then the purified oil is output.
